Town Square

Town Square

Committee Purpose / Goals

The Town Square is the name of the primary committee of The Montana Assembly which is the lawful government of Montana State and which is in session. It is fashioned after the concept in days gone by of the open public space many towns had which was usually located in the center of a town and which was used for community gatherings, information dissemination, and many other purposes. If people wanted to know what was going on, they would go to the town square.

When an issue important to the people of Montana State is brought to the Montana Assembly, if warranted, the Town Square committee will vote to form a specific committee to address the issue. The Town Square committee oversees all other committees and helps the information developed by each committee to be published/posted on this web site for public access. At the present time, the focus is on the issue of weather modification as explained in the Clean Resources section of this web site, and on tax relief remedies.
